Lean originally refers to meat that is low in fat and rich in protein, but our LEAN WAGYU embodies the idea of "delicious lean Wagyu beef."

Rin Wagyu is a Kagoshima-produced Japanese Black beef that is fattened over a long period on carefully selected feed without the use of feed additives such as monensin, under the strict management of affiliated farmers, with an emphasis on the lineage of parent cattle with good meat quality.

A rich natural breeding environment and carefully selected feed

Our partner farms in Kagoshima Prefecture, where we raise Rin Wagyu, are extremely particular about creating an ideal environment for the cows and the quality of their feed.

First, let's talk about the breeding environment. The ranch is located in the mountains at a high altitude, and is blessed with clean air and abundant nature, allowing the cows to grow up healthy and stress-free. They use natural water pumped up from underground for drinking water.

In addition, each farm does not use any feed additives such as monensin (*1), and instead feeds their cattle a unique blend of domestically produced rice bran, soybeans, barley, and other ingredients, carefully fattening them over a long period of time.

The low melting point of fat and the wisdom and skill of artisans

At Rin Wagyu, we select cattle with low-melting-point fat that melts easily at body temperature. Furthermore, by using the wisdom and skills of our artisans to devise the cuts and cutting methods we offer to our customers, even those who don't like fatty meat or who find Wagyu beef with a lot of marbling too heavy can fully enjoy the delicious flavor of the lean meat.

The meat is flash frozen in an Art Lock freezer and then skin-packed to maintain its freshness.

Our frozen meat is produced using the latest Art Lock freezer skin packs , achieving freshness and deliciousness that sets it apart from conventional freezing methods.
